More About Caitlin
Caitlin is a relatable, kind therapist with a sense of humor. She’s warm + collaborative.
She likes to strike a balance between allowing clients the space to verbally process & inspiring change through encouragement.
Ready to untangle old wounds, big feelings, and self-esteem issues so life feels like it's worth living?
Let’s identify the beliefs and patterns that keep getting you stuck.
I believe in hope.
We can ALL change.
Some change is easier than others. Some changes are quick and easy and some are hard.
Over time, as we keep trying, the change gets less hard. When we have experienced trauma, this is called post-traumatic growth.
Life doesn't have to just suck forever.
Life is worth living. You don’t have to just survive, it can be good, it can be beautiful.
Life can look a lot different than how we thought it could. We can face our stuff head on & hope for something better. Better is possible.
Therapy can be fun!
We can find a moment to laugh even in the darkest times. What I believe about human behavior and change: There’s a point to imagining something better & working toward it.
I know this much is true from my life and its journey.
“Hope” is the thing with feathers:
“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -And never stops - at all -
And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -
I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.
I am:
Fun! I love having a laugh with people I work with.
A “get stuff done” therapist” not a “sit and nod” therapist.
The therapeutic relationship is important to me.
If our wounds were created in relationships, the healing has to be created in relationships too.I work well with people who have been in therapy before + those who have been afraid or reluctant to start/restart therapy
I’m a human: I’m on my own growth/change journey too!

What I’m not…
Just going to give you coping skills. I’ll teach you to cope in the meantime, but my goal is for us to work together to find and resolve the root issue
If you’re not willing to look at the past I’m not the right therapist for you
A know-it-all. If I don’t know something, then I will let you know so we can figure it out together
A magician who can solve someone’s problems myself without their help.
an Executive Function (ADHD) Coach
Going to push an agenda, a belief system, a values system, etc that doesn't align with the clients.
Going to take a one-size-fits-all to therapy. I have various modalities I frequently use, but I’m not afraid to take ethical creative license to modify treatment approaches to best work for you.
I don’t write ESA letters as I’m not trained in the legal considerations
I don’t work so well with those who…
Are seeking therapy for eating disorders (as the primary issue)
Have active substance misuse concerns as a result of their trauma
Are seeking evaluation for custody or legal issues
Would be better served by a higher level of care than weekly therapy for their recent suicidal behavior
Are experiencing personality disordered symptoms that severely impact their functioning
Let’s work together.
Fill out some info and we will be in touch shortly. We can’t wait to hear from you!
